September – it had rained in the middle of the week…perfect conditions for mushrooms. We met @richardbarley and family for the ritual mushroom hunt and failed once again…but we did see lots of frogs and came home with a basket full of pears and tomatoes from Lisa’s back garden.Lovely day!

Is the Skecher helping with the derriere while bending over to look for mushrooms? (giggle snort) Wanted to beat the Ol’ Man on that one.
come on John..behave! take example on DP…he is doing very well!
I would never mention Sylvie’s behind!!! ….. I thought that was just between you and me young John …..
Anyway, biting my tongue over “but we did see lots of frogs” – it’s really beginning to hurt actually …..
you just carry on me love…
I’ve started bleeding now Sylvie – the self control I exert for you is UNBELIEVABLE!!!
there’s a good lad…
Hi,
After reading your blog this morning I’ve decided to make a walk in the forest at noon, looking for mushrooms …
and then bingo, chanterelles, trumpets and ‘pieds de mouton’ were at the rendezvous.
I will enjoy next diner
you must have the mushroom luck— not a chance here too dry
