We have an ongoing keep fit campaign over at Fuelmyblog - Skechers Shape Ups are being put to the test by the bloggers. One of my role at Fuel is to make sure that the campaigns run smoothly and that everyone has all the elements requested to carry out the reviews…so far I have seen bloggers go on holidays, drinking coffee I have even been responsible for their bathing experience…and every time I am thinking to myself: “how very nice..I blog but I don’t get to take part in any of that stuff…”{I know you are feeling really sorry for me} That’s until I started getting bloggers together to review these puppies:

An online conversation about these miraculous toning trainers started on twitter and @glowstars suggested to try them too. It made perfect sense! The lovely guys behind Skechers agreed and I am now a proud owner of a pair of pair of shaping trainers.
So far I have only been messing around with them and doing the odd hoovering which has left me well…dribbling:
*very sorry for this poor photograph that was taken from a dodgy blackberry AND totally against my will…revenge will be painful…
My initial reaction is that it feels like walking on air – the shape of the sole makes the body rock unnaturally so the pelvis has to work harder at stabilising and I guess that’s where the workout comes into action.
So – having only just received them and the weather dictating flip flops here in La Rochelle rather than bulky trainers…I am looking forward to giving you my full feedback on the sporty virtues of these body shaping trainers in the next few weeks.
I am planning on using them on long Sunday walks, first up:Â walking over the Ile de Re bridge that’s a 6km round the trip walk…wish me luck

Oooooh, neat! Walking on air while shaping up, sounds like the perfect pair of shoes … good luck on your 6km walk!
How many legs have you got Sylvie? Loads by the look of it and my goodness, how hard working you look in the bottom picture …. [not the picture of your bottom silly, the picture AT the bottom of your post]
Enjoyed the misspellings and/or typos as well ……. very reassuring … tee hee
Have fun.
Loving mine Sylvie… I must do a bit of an introductory post … 6k will be a doddle in the marshmallow trainers
@tNt:imagine walking on the hills of Portugal with them!
DP: ok you win once again…you are the teacher and I am the hopeless foreign student
70steen: yes I can’t wait!
just a hint .. bumpy terrain is an adventure in them
I walked on a beach with big stones and I had to use my hands more than usual
These shoes sound dangerous!!!!
That sounds just what I need!:)Does it really work?! I walk a lot.I use my car only if I can’t use my legs!It saves money and it’s free exercize.
