Tucked away near my favorite park in La Rochelle overlooking the sea with full view of the the light house “phare du bout du monde” it does not get much better than that – chilled wine is not bad either…DSC_0264

  • I had no idea you were old enough to drink Sylvie …. the sea’s quite slopey over there isn’t it? Now tell me about the tidal range for Springs and Neaps. This is information I’ll need when I come to visit in that yacht we’ve talked about ………

    I am taking some time to read your blog. If you ever have a free moment, I would love to hear more about La Rochelle. My husband is French and I am American. We lived in Paris for 4 years and returned to NY when the economy got a bit rough (ha ha..same here now)…our dream is to live in La Rochelle or Bordeaux. I would love to hear more of what your life is like there!!
