It has been too long..sorry…

I am sorry it has been so long since my last post!

I have not felt uninspired, far from it…I have tons of pictures waiting to be downloaded I simply had no time to dedicate here at all! My attention is needed elsewhere at the moment. I am sure you already know this but for the last few weeks we have been busy transferring the FMB blog to a wordpress.org. The work is not over, there is still plenty of editing to do…(we have over 700 posts in this blog!). Paul is working relentlessly on tweaking and fixing bugs…and they breed fast!

Kevin is concentrating on a sideway project which takes all his attention and a lot of traveling. Fuelmyblog in the meantime is growing strong and it is great to team up with Paul who takes a lot of the pressure away from the business side of things. It means I can concentrate on talking to the Fuelers, keep on top of back office and talk to the sponsors.

Homelife is busy too, it is that time of the year where the social life of the children goes wild…no smoking nor drinking involved yet at 9 and 11 but June has been a long stretch of parties, shows, late nights and school evaluations to keep on top of. The summer holiday is starting next week. Ananas and Bein Ouai are flying out to Greece with their grand parents and I am really excited about this because at the last minute Kevin managed to get some cheap tickets for us which means that we will be spending a week with them!

I am going on holiday!!! I cannot recall the last time we went away…work will be on the agenda still, we will be fully equipped with laptops and wifi but hey it classifies as a holiday. The next few months are going to be very busy so the break is going to be welcome!

In August the English grand parents are taking the children for a tour of Scotland we will be working from UK for a bit.

I have not run out of ideas for this place, I am going to start a page with restaurant reviews in la Rochelle, we have been struggling to find descent places but after two years we are getting there and I thought it would be a good idea to talk about the good eateries in La Rochelle.

Thank you for visiting my blog in spite of the lack of posting, it means a lot to me. x

Those bugs do breed fast don’t they.. I think you’re feeding them :)

Seriously though, thanks for all you’re work with the blog. You’ve put in as much (if not more) work that I have and we could never have got it to where it is now without you’re dedication.

wow, sounds busy. It’s so funny to think of you being excited about going away, when your blog helps me to dream of my long-awaited trip to La Rochelle and Ile de Re. Bet you’re looking forward to a Top Shop fix though. Don’t want to rush you, but any chance of those restaurant reviews before the end of July – I’d like to learn from your mistakes!

It certainly is a busy time with kids at the moment – we seem to have some event or other on almost every day at the minute. Well done on the FMB update and I hope you enjoy your “break”. Hope to catch up with you and Kevin in la Rochelle some time soon to share a pineau and the Charente sunshine :)

…. a week in grease! – yuk ……… hang on …. oh Greece. You do realise that your children will be there too don’t you ……
Have a lovely time ……. and don’t worry about FMB …… I’ll take care of everything [in between the plumbing, the cabinet making, the blogging, the cooking, the shopping, the plastering, cutting the grass and providing counselling for 70's] …………….

Enjoy your holiday! I’m going on a brief vacation myself, actually…a brief one, but it counts nonetheless!
