Julien Ribot

As I visited the talented LAFABE grafik ‘s blog a couple of weeks ago I came across the mention of a French musician that I had never heard of before, Julien Ribot. I followed the link to his Myspace and listened to his latest album Vega.

I loved it straight away, I also listened to him live on French radio France Inter podcast: Le Fou du Roi and knew there and then that I had to get my hands on it!…the album arrived today and there is not one song I am disappointed with (which is quite rare). The melody is rich and takes you in a fancy world full of images and positive vibes, the lyrics are just as rich. Plus, the CD cover was created by Julien Ribot himself who also happens to be a very talented artist. The guy is a genius!

Good morning Sylvie …….. how are you this fine morning?

I love multi-talented people that aren’t limited by perceived borders – it’s how it should be.

Have a lovely weekend and I hope the sun shines for you and your family ……….. xx

Good afternoon Sylvie. I agree the album covr is simply lovely.

Oh dear DP what are you up to?

Sylvie if you ever go back to playing music on your site again and would like to have this artist available there is a chance.

I had a song that I too found on MySpace but was not available on my music player.

So I contacted the artist and requested that he submit his music to the company that I do use as my player.

And he did and they added hi there also.

    Always an option!! Happy week-end!:-)

    Very enjoyable, fantastic melodies!

No idea what is actually being sung, but sometimes that adds to the enjoyment.

    Thanks again,
    The Rev.
